Civic CRX Delsol EG2

I took over this car, on the 2nd of Jan. I thought, what a nice start for the new year. With a 2dr coupe, 2 seater car, it was a wonderful experience driving it. Although it was a cheap car, it invited many stares as it was such a rare car in the market. Money started going towards the car. With the meagre salary of $1700 a month, i had lots of trouble. Installment was $400, petrol was $400 a month, i was almost left with nothing after my food and cigarettes. But still, every other cent was for this car.

1 week after driving this car, i went into a 180 degree spin. Shitty, really shitty feeling, when u know u did well driving, but the car just wouldn't obey. I then swapped out the 16" rims and threw out the old tyres for a new set of 15" rims, and Potenza ZIII tyres. Best road tyres your can ever get, grippy on both wet and dry. I never had a skid moment in my Delsol ever again.

Delsol looked crappy, so i rebuilt the whole external body, had all the dinks knocked out, and had a full bodykit customised onto it. Evo7 DAMD front bumper, 350Z rear bumper, 350Z side skirts, relocated number plate recess. The whole kit cost me $1300, which was a really steep price. I paid it, as i don't really mind paying for good workmanship. The difference can be felt, poor workmanship stuff cracks all the time, and mine, just really fine, it really holds up. The full respray was $1050, i had it done in 2 tone, black and white. Simple colour which withstands the test of time. It proved to be a wise choice. Slowly, the other Delsol owners started talking, and they fully understand the time and effort I've put into my Delsol. I wouldn't say much, but, even till now, the Delsol forum guys still know about my ride, and all the positive comments you'd be able to receive when you talk to them about it, will let you know that my ride is really given the best.
